Brachiosaurus is one of the most famous sauropod dinosaurs ever. This titan of the Jurassic was up to 70 feet long and weighed over 30-40 tons. This dinosaur has been described as being the giraffe of the dinosaur world. However, at nearly 35 feet tall, Brachiosaurus is over twice the height of a 16 foot tall giraffe. Brachiosaurus has been discovered in North America, with possible remains in Africa now attributed to a different species.
