Protoceratops was a primitive ceratopsian from Asia. At 6-9 ft long and about 400-500 lbs, it was one of the smaller herbivores in the area. It also did not have any horns on it's head or frill. It would have been relatively easy prey for predators like Velociraptor and the tyrannosaur Tarbosaurus. Protoceratops lived about 75 million years ago.
