Quetzalcoatalus was one of the greatest and most famous flyers ever. With a wingspan of 33-36 feet, it may have been the biggest animal that ever flew, although it's cousins Hatzegopteryx of Europe and Arambourgiania of Jordan may have been as big, if not bigger. This pterosaur lived about 65-68 million years ago in North America.
