Masiakasaurus was a small abelisaur from Madagascar. It's one of the most primitive abelisaurs yet. Masiakasaurus was about 6-10 feet long and weighed just over 200 pounds. It's forward facing front teeth would have been ideal for catching small prey like mammals, lizards, and fish. Masiakasaurus lived in Madagascar about 70 million years ago.
