One of the spiniest stegosaurs, Dacentrurus was also one of the largest. This large dinosaur was over 23 feet long and weighed in at nearly 2-3 tons. Despite it's size, like most stegosaurs, Dacentrurus was built very low to the ground. It had a head height of only around 6 feet despite it's large size. Dacentrurus was an extremely common stegosaur from Europe and it lived around 150 million years ago.
