Spinosaurus, one of the largest land predators ever, has been shrouded in mystery for decades. Now, as of 2014, we have a better idea of what this dinosaur was like. It's size estimate has been somewhat reduced to 46-50 feet in length with a weight of 5-7 tons. Nonetheless, it was still huge. Spinosaurus also seems to have had short legs and long arms, perfect for swimming. Spinosaurus may have also had some limited binocular vision which would help while fishing. This strange dinosaur also had an oddly shaped sail, a long neck, and long jaws. Spinosaurus was a very aquatic dinosaur specializing in fishing. Spinosaurus lived in Africa about 95-110 million years ago.
