Yutyrannus currently holds the record for the largest animal to have feathers. The feathered tyrant was between 26 and 30 feet in length and weighed about 1-2 tons. This tyrannosaur was first discovered in 2012 when one adult, a sub-adult, and a juvenile were all discovered in the same place. This may suggest packing behavior. Yutyrannus lived in Asia about 130 million years ago.
