Titanosaurus was a massive sauropod. At somewhere between 40-70 feet long and 15-30 tons, it certainly lived up to it's name. It received it's name because, at the time of it's discovery, it was the biggest dinosaur found. While not the biggest dinosaur ever, Titanosaurus was certainly one of the largest dinosaurs in it's environment. Titanosaurus lived about 70 million years ago in Europe, Asia, Africa, and South America.
