Ceratosaurus was a contemporary of Allosaurus. At nearly 25 feet long and 2 tons, this was one fearsome predator. Ceratosaurus is often overshadowed by Allosaurus in popular culture. However, it is important to know that this carnivore was still one of the deadliest predators at the time. It's teeth were up to 6 inches long and were some of the longest of any dinosaur compared to body size. It's possible that Ceratosaurus hunted in pairs or trios. Ceratosaurus lived in North America, Africa, and possibly Europe roughly 150-160 million years ago.
