Dilophosaurus was one of the first large carnivores. These dinosaurs were up to 20 feet long and over half a ton. Dilophosaurus is famous for it's set of crests on it's head. Unlike in Jurassic Park, Dilophosaurus did not have a frill and it did not spit venom. The real animal was also bigger than it's Jurassic Park counterpart. These predators lived in North America about 205 million years ago.
